I started to read muv luv extra and unlimited so i can get full alternative experience, cause i had liked muv-luv so far i will buy Degica's alternative pretty mutch as soon it's a available, but cause we don't have relase date so other than maybe next summer i had to ask what kind of improments i should expect to Deglica's relase to compare to fanpatch and should i wait offical western relase before i start reading alternative, also will there be directors edition on alternitive like muv'luv had. They will relase it when it's done, i get it, i would had hoped that someone who is familiar with original patch would had tell what kind off issues it may had that Degica would be fixing and does it had cut-out content that may or may-not be relased with same day when alternative is relased, i don't wanna start reading vn to knowing that game is missing content that may be relased afterwards.i do regret to adressing my original post like i did cause i wanted to hear improments what Degica has done to muv-luv what what they propably will improve to alternative.
The fan translation is perfectly understandable if you can't wait. Degica is perfecting the translation and making the user interface, text, and menus more attractive. Also, there are a significant number of mispronounced Engrish scenes in Alternative which, although completely hilarious, could be immersion breaking for some people. Degica is going to re-do them with actors who actually speak English and have an option to retain the originals. Similar to Muv-Luv, some bgm tracks will be removed because of copyright issues and replaced with completely new ones which are high quality. The censorship issue is a big unknown with Alternative because there are a much wider array of scenes that could potentially be censored including not only sex scenes but also extreme gore scenes.
However, there is a good chance that many of those scenes could be left intact because Steam is much more permissible when it comes to violence compared to sexual content. Just like Muv-Luv there will be an uncensor patch that the Kickstarter backers will receive for free and others will pay a small price for.

It doesnt crash for me at all??? Yeah i did play the fanpatch and was, good but overated as., the major issues i had with this thing were on writing (mainly lack of meaninful character development) so i won't go spoiler rant at this point. And i did had to install game to direct to PFx86 to game not to crash, also i hated the text files that i had to read to mid vn, also i had to mention the glorious engrish that were taken direct to grisaia no kajitsu english class. (i'm not native speaker at my self but holy ♥♥♥♥ that was hillarisly bad)totally would buy this on steam to support devs to bring rest of this series here. It crashed on credit if you're using anything higher than W7 32 bit (64 bit would crash) due to a video being played.
RUGP is a really finnicky engine, it was never fully hacked. They managed to inject the translation by replacing the line directly in memory (which is why when you save the text are in Japanese, compared to Altered Fable/Alternative Chronicles where its in English)The fantranslation is readable, but Ixrec is a pretty poor translator that value plot/speed over quality. MLA isn't a flowery game and it ultimately get the point across, so its fine (compared to games like Cross+Channel where its all about the language).
