It depends how deep you want to dig into the executable and what kind of data you need from the exe.As with all exe files you can analyse them on a low level. But I assume you want to have a high-level tool to get back the director files that were used to create the exe, right? For the exe-file (the 'projector' to use the appropriate director wording) there is no such tool known to me.But very often the exe file is used together with files with extensions such as.dxr or.dir. Those are director files. DXR-Files are protected. But by importing them into director you can extract some of the cast memebers (graphics etc.) that are included.
Software to open or convert MACROMEDIA MACROMEDIA AUTHORWARE files It looks like we do not have any suggestions for programs that can open MACROMEDIA MACROMEDIA AUTHORWARE files. We receive hundreds of suggestions from our users every day, so suggestions for.MACROMEDIA MACROMEDIA AUTHORWARE may become available quite soon.
You need in-deep knowledge of lingo to do so.You might also find.cst or.cxt files. Those are cast files.
They can hold media, scripts etc. CXT are the protected versions.
For these files the same is true as for the DXR and DIR files. All in all - it is not easy and your chances are low to completly reveal all code and media. Most director programmer use the protected files for distributing their programs. Those do not allow to reveal all data included.

Many of the products in Adobe CS4 are the same / have the same purpose as those available in Macromedia Studio 8.Either way, I have used Studio 8 and MX and greatly favor the interface and new features of Studio 8. For example I have 2 people on the stage. How would I make it so that everything zooms in on one person for dramatic effect. Then make it pan across to the person next to him? Do I need to select everything on the stage and tween? Please tell me there's an easier wayHow do you zoom in / Pan in on a scene in Macromedia Flash 8?Basically zoom and pan can be applied to movieclip symbol (and button, though it's rare).
So all you have to do is to put all objects that you want in one movieclip. With actionscript (which is preffered than using timeline, zoom can be achieved by changing its scales (xscale and yscale), while you pan the movieclip by changing its position (x or y).Visit the links for more details. How do you zoom in / Pan in on a scene in Macromedia Flash 8?It's called V-cam. Just search it and download.
